Three professors from Bilkent University have been recognized by The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) for 2014.

Assoc. Prof. Emrah Özensoy of the Department of Chemistry, Asst. Prof. Bülend Ortaç and Asst. Prof. Tamer Uyar from the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, have been awarded by the TÜBİTAK Incentive Award for 2014.

Bilkent University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduates, Prof. Özgür Barış Akan and Asst. Prof. Özgür Ergül are also among the 2014 TÜBİTAK Award recipients.

TÜBİTAK Incentive Award is awarded to scientists, who are under the age of 40 and who have proved to have the necessary qualifications to provide outstanding contributions to science in the future at an international level.
