The Master of Arts in TEFL program is designed for practising, and aspiring English language educators with a scholarly mindset who seek to pursue, or advance, their careers in academic and professional settings.

The MA in TEFL program aims to

• Provide a platform for inquiring into research informed themes and topics in contexts where English is taught as a foreign, second, professional or academic language,

• Explore emerging trends and innovative practices, with a specific emphasis on English Medium Instruction (EMI) contexts,

• Cultivate a research-intensive environment to equip participants with essential skills for conducting research in the field,

• Foster interdisciplinary perspectives by integrating insights from diverse fields to transcend disciplinary boundaries,

• Promote a critical and constructive mindset to inform both practice & research.
